The Senior Deputy Manager – Finance is responsible for leading financial planning, business analysis, investment evaluations, and corporate reporting activities. The role provides strategic financial insights to support business growth, capital allocation decisions, and organizational performance while ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with corporate governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evaluation of business plans, strategic initiatives, and expansion opportunities.
• Develop and oversee complex financial models for business valuation, forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making.
• Conduct investment appraisals, feasibility studies, and financial due diligence for new projects and business ventures.
• Evaluate CAPEX proposals through detailed financial analysis, including ROI, IRR, NPV, payback period, and risk assessments.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage and ensure the timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Lead the preparation and submission of group reporting packages, ensuring compliance with corporate reporting requirements and timelines.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Partner with business leaders to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
• Present financial analyses and recommendations to senior management to support key business decisions.
• Drive improvements in financial reporting, planning processes, and management information systems.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders on financial and reporting matters.
• Mentor and develop finance team members while promoting best practices in financial management and reporting.

Qualification & Experience

• CA /ACCA Finalist.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in corporate sector.

• Strong financial governance, compliance, and internal controls.
• Hands on experience in performing financial statement analysis and ratio analysis.
• Delivery of actionable financial insights that drive business growth and profitability.
