Plant Manager

The Plant Manager is the leader of the manufacturing site. This role is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence and a winning culture to deliver the financial goals of the site.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment while complying with environmental regulations and food safety standards
• Ensure products are manufactured to quality standards and within customer specification
• Build customer relationships through regular communication and delivered quality
• Lead departments to optimize performance in all aspects of the business
• Drive a continuous improvement culture and strive to improve the manufacturing process
• Lead people development, training, employee engagement, and advancement at all levels of the plant organization through servant leadership
• Partner and share best practices with business segment peers to drive overall company performance improvements
• Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs
• Drive favorable P&L results through the items the plant controls (i.e. productivity, labor cost, spending)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field or significant industry experience
• Ten years of manufacturing experience with a proven track record of successful team building
• Great communicator with effective organizational and planning skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Lean Six Sigma certification
