Job Title: Medical Coding Trainer (Part-Time OR Full Time Onsite – Chennai)

We are looking for experienced and passionate Medical Coding Trainers to join our growing training team in Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are enthusiastic about teaching and mentoring freshers, and who want to contribute to building the next generation of skilled medical coders.

This role is strictly onsite , requiring trainers to be physically present at the office on a daily basis. If you enjoy sharing knowledge, simplifying complex coding concepts, and shaping careers, we would love to hear from you.

• Deliver high-quality training sessions in Medical Coding (ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS)
• Train freshers and entry-level candidates across multiple specialties such as:
• Radiology & Interventional Radiology
• Surgery (Multi-specialty)
• E/M & ED Coding
• HCC / Risk Adjustment Coding
• Anesthesia
• Medicine
• Develop and deliver structured training modules, presentations, and practical exercises
• Conduct assessments, mock tests, and provide detailed feedback to trainees
• Guide students on real-time coding scenarios and industry best practices
• Ensure students understand coding guidelines (AMA, CMS, NCCI, OGCR)
• Support trainees in interview preparation and job readiness
• Maintain training records, attendance, and performance reports
• Collaborate with management to continuously improve training content

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Medical Coding
• Strong knowledge of:
• ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS
• Medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Coding guidelines (CMS, AMA, NCCI edits, LCDs)
• Certification preferred: CPC / CRC / CCS / RCC
• Experience in multiple specialties is highly preferred
• Prior training or mentoring experience is an added advantage

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong teaching and mentoring ability
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for beginners
• Good organizational and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and helping freshers build careers
• Ability to handle batches and engage students effectively

• Must be available for part-time training (flexible hours)
• Mandatory onsite presence in Chennai office (daily)
• This is NOT a remote/online role
