School Bus Driver/Trainer

NRT Bus, Inc.***Candidates who are MA-Certified School Bus Trainers are eligible for up to $5000 sign on bonus***Pay rate: $30-$35/hour depending on location/route assignmentsDriver ResponsibilitiesSafely transport students to and from school and eventsDrive assigned local routesPerform pretrip and posttrip inspectionsMaintain a clean, safe vehicleCommunicate professionally with students, families, and school staffFollow all state/local traffic laws and school district policiesTrainer ResponsibilitiesDevelop a schedule to assess training needs.Conduct employee surveys and interviews.Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership.Track and compile collected data.Conceptualize training materials based on data and research.Communicate training needs and online resources.Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials.Contact and utilize outside vendors and resources for instructional technology.Test and review created materials.Maintain a database of all training materials.Instruct employee training and onboarding.Conduct training through new materials.Review employee performance and learning.Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment.Perform other duties as assigned.RequirementsCDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements--at least 2 years experienceMA-Certified School Bus Trainer Or willing to obtain, we provide trainingValid DOT medical cardSafe driving recordAge 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experienceAbility to pass background check & drug screeningEffectively communicate in English (spoken & written)Beacon Mobility is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
