Doodli transforms your child's imagination into magical, animated video and audio stories. With just a drawing or a favourite idea, Doodli brings characters to life in colourful, personalized video and audio stories designed for kids ages 2 – 8.

This role is ideal for a multidisciplinary designer looking to build a powerhouse portfolio that combines character IP creation with real-world app product design.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Character Design & IP Creation

Concept & Design: Brainstorm and sketch 8 to 10 unique doodle characters based on initial concept prompts. Character Turnarounds: Create multi-angle views and expression sheets to establish a cohesive universe. Vector Execution: Clean, trace, and finalize character designs into high-resolution, scalable vector assets.

2. UI/UX Design & App Wireframing

Wireframing: Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes to plan user flows and layout logic for the app. UI Improvements: Analyze our existing app layouts to spot friction points and redesign screens for a cleaner, modern look. Prototyping: Build interactive, clickable prototypes to demonstrate user journeys and transitions. Asset Integration: Seamlessly blend your custom doodle character art into the app's interface (e.g., empty states, onboarding screens, badges).

3. Asset & Project Handover

File Management: Maintain highly organized design files with proper component naming, layer structures, and responsive layouts. IP Handover: Sign an Intellectual Property (IP) Assignment Agreement to transfer 100% of the character and app layouts to the company.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Dual Portfolio: Must showcase both character illustration work (clean linework/doodle styles) and UI/UX projects (wireframes, app screens, case studies). UI/UX Software: Expert proficiency in Figma (highly preferred) or Adobe XD. Illustration Software: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, or Clip Studio Paint. Product Thinking: A solid understanding of user-centred design, layout hierarchy, navigation patterns, and app workflows. Vector Skills: Ability to deliver clean, export-ready vector paths (AI, SVG). Legal Requirement: Must be willing to sign an Intellectual Property (IP) Assignment Agreement upon hire.

Stipend: ₹20,000 (fixed)

Duration: 1 - 2 months (It can be extended based on performance)
