About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager – Monitoring & Evaluation to lead and support monitoring, evaluation, MIS, reporting, and implementation of government/development programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) activities for programs/projects.
• Manage and monitor Management Information Systems (MIS) and ensure accurate and timely data reporting.
• Track program progress, outcomes, indicators, and implementation activities.
• Analyze program data and prepare reports, dashboards, and management updates.
• Coordinate with government departments, project teams, and other stakeholders.
• Support evidence-based decision-making through monitoring and data analysis.
• Identify implementation gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of program activities.

Eligibility & Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Full-time Graduate/Postgraduate qualification in Social Sciences, Economics, Rural Management, Development Studies, Public Policy, Public Administration , or a relevant discipline is preferred.
• 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Experience with National/State Government, development, donor-funded, or similar organizations will be preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared UPSC Prelims/Mains .

Additional Preference

Candidates with 15+ years of Government sector experience , particularly at the level of Deputy Collector or equivalent , with experience in field-level implementation of government projects, will be given preference.
