Wound Care Nurse - RN - Registered Nurse Come join us at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1971. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. We are seeking a Wound Care Nurse - RN - Registered Nurse.

• $115K to $122K annually based on skills and experience.
• Monday through Friday schedule.

• Current licensure in the State of NY as a Registered Nurse - RN.
• Minimum of 2 years of Wound Care experience in a Nursing Home.
• Wound Care Certification preferred.

• Ensure completion of skin assessments assigned to charge nurses.
• Review of admission skin assessments.
• Inform necessary departments of new or worsening skin issues.
• Ensure necessary referrals are made.
• Rounding with wound care specialist.
• Ensure high risk residents have interventions/preventative measures in place.
• Correspond with DME suppliers to ensure equipment and supplies are ordered and delivered and pick-up timely.
• Ensure that acute care plans are completed according to policy.
• Ensure, assess and monitor appropriate treatments are in place.
