Position: TGT Social Studies (Classes VI–VIII)
Key Responsibilitie
s Teach Social Studies subjects including History, Geography, Civics, Political Science, and Economic s to students of Classes VI–VIII
. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes
. Use innovative teaching methodologies, including maps, charts, presentations, case studies, projects, smart boards, and activity-based learning
. Conduct assessments, examinations, assignments, and projects to evaluate student performance
. Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports
. Provide constructive feedback and support students' academic growth
. Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and civic awareness among students
. Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment
. Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, school events, training programs, and co-curricular activities
. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student learning outcomes
Qualifications & Experienc
e Graduate/Postgraduate in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related Social Science discipline
. B. Ed. degree is mandatory
. Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school preferred
. Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
. Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology
