Senior Finance Manager

SHR Talent is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Nashville, TN to hire a Strategic Finance Manager. This is a highly visible opportunity for a finance professional who wants to go beyond reporting the numbers and play a meaningful role in shaping business decisions.The Strategic Finance Manager will work closely with senior leadership, including direct exposure to the CFO, to provide financial analysis, competitive insights, forecasting, and strategic recommendations that help drive the business forward. We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, commercially minded, and motivated by finding opportunities to improve performance — not simply completing assigned tasks.This role is ideal for someone who can dig into the data, understand the story behind the numbers, and confidently translate that information into actionable recommendations.

What You'll DoPartner closely with the CFO and senior leadership on strategic financial initiatives and business decisionsDevelop financial models, forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses to support short- and long-term planningAnalyze financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvementConduct competitive and market analysis to help leadership identify opportunities for growth and improved performanceTranslate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations for executive leadershipLook beyond traditional reporting to understand the "why" behind financial and operational resultsPartner cross-functionally with business and operational leaders to improve performanceSupport strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and other high-impact projectsIdentify opportunities to strengthen financial processes, reporting, and decision-making
What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field5–7 years of progressive finance, FP&A, strategic finance, or related experience preferredCandidates with 3–4 years of experience may be considered with strong strategic capabilities and the right energy and cultural fitManufacturing industry experience strongly preferredStrong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skillsExperience with competitive, market, or strategic business analysisAbility to move beyond reporting numbers and use financial data to recommend solutions and influence decisionsStrong business acumen and understanding of financial and operational driversExcellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior leadershipProactive, curious, collaborative, and comfortable challenging the status quoDesire to make a meaningful impact and have a voice in the organization
Compensation & Work ArrangementUp to $160,000, depending on experienceNashville, TNHybrid schedule with 2–3 days per week onsiteHigh visibility and direct exposure to the CFO and executive leadershipOpportunity to influence strategy and make a measurable impact within the organization
