About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Campus Director to oversee the overall operations and administration of our university campus in Uganda. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of academic and administrative activities while maintaining high standards of operational excellence and student services.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the university campus. Ensure effective coordination between academic and administrative departments. Supervise campus administration, facilities, security, housekeeping, and support services. Lead and manage administrative staff, ensuring efficient service delivery. Support faculty and department heads in achieving academic and operational goals. Develop and implement campus policies and operational procedures. Prepare operational plans, budgets, and management reports. Monitor campus resources and ensure efficient utilization. Ensure compliance with university policies and relevant regulatory requirements in Uganda. Build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, government authorities, and external stakeholders. Promote a safe, professional, and student-focused campus environment.

Qualifications

Ph. D. in Management ( Mandatory ). Strong academic and administrative background in higher education.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in university administration, higher education management, or institutional operations. At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Sound organizational and problem-solving skills. Financial and budget management knowledge. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and university management systems is an advantage.
