Alumni relations manager

Somaiya Vidyavihar University (SVU) is looking for a Manager, Alumni Relations to drive alumni engagement, institutional relationship-building, and fundraising across SVU and its partner institutions. You'll be central to turning our growing alumni community into long-term relationships that benefit both the university and its graduates.

What you'll do Own governance, strategy, planning, and MIS/compliance for alumni relations Raise funds and secure alumni donations for CSR, infrastructure, and social development programmes Manage alumni relationship operations across all SVU partners, SAV, and SVV institutions Lead high-quality alumni activities and events with associations, coordinators, HOIs, HODs, and external partners Partner closely with the Communications team on segmented outreach and campaign execution

What you'll bring Master's in Business Administration, Management, Communication, Public Policy, or related field 7-8+ years in fundraising, event management, sales, or stakeholder engagement — university/education sector preferred Demonstrated alumni outreach experience Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, MS Office proficiency; CRM/MIS exposure a plus
