Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and result-oriented Senior Manager – PPMC Operation s to head our Pre-Policy Medical Checkup (PPMC) vertical. In this leadership role, you will design, optimize, and oversee the entire PPMC operations ecosystem. You will be responsible for managing large-scale operations, driving strategic partnerships with diagnostic networks and insurance providers, and leading a high-performing team to ensure seamless medical report collection, validation, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadershi p: Oversee and scale the end-to-end PPMC operations division, aligning operational goals with the company’s business objectives.
Vendor & Partner Managemen t: Build and maintain high-level strategic relationships with leading diagnostic centres, hospital networks, and corporate insurance partners to expand and streamline the partner network
Performance & SLA Governanc e: Own and drive key metrics across the vertical, ensuring 100% adherence to rigorous Turnaround Times (TATs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Escalation & Risk Managemen t: Serve as the final point of escalation for complex operational bottlenecks, system delays, or partner discrepancies, implementing permanent corrective actions.
Process Engineerin g: Continuously evaluate operational workflows, collaborate with Quality and Training teams, and implement automation or process improvements to boost efficiency
Data-Driven Decision s: Analyze complex operational trends, identify gaps, and present comprehensive MIS reports, performance dashboards, and actionable insights to executive leadership
Team Mentorship & Growt h: Lead, mentor, and build a robust hierarchy of operational managers, team leads, and executives, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
PPMC Operations – Key Metrics Ownership
Turnaround Time (TA T): Continuous optimization of report collection, validation, and final dispatch TAT
Order-to-Closure Ra te: Ensuring maximum efficiency in processing daily order flows with zero backlog
Quality & Complian ce: Maintaining a zero-error rate in medical report verification and data privacy standards.
Partner SLA Adheren ce: Monitoring and auditing external healthcare and diagnostic partners for performance compliance.
Key Requirements
Education : Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA or healthcare management degree is a plus).
Experience: 7–10 years of experience in Operations, specifically within the Healthcare, Diagnostics, or Health Insurance sectors.
Leadership Experie nce: Minimum 3–4 years of experience managing large, multi-tiered teams (including Team Leads and Assistant Managers).
Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of the health insurance ecosystem, pre-policy medical checkup (PPMC) workflows, and medical underwriting requirements.
Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in data analytics, MS Excel, data visualization tools, and operational dashboards.
Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
