Vice President, Business Internal Audit Location: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid, 2 days onsite) Compensation: $180,000–$200,000 base + Bonus Employment Type: Full-Time This role is not eligable for c2c or sponsorship at this time. About the Opportunity We are partnering with a highly regulated, globally recognized financial services organization to hire a Vice President, Business Internal Audit . This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing Internal Audit function with significant exposure to senior leadership, regulators, and a broad range of business operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial services internal audit, experience leading audits across multiple business areas, and an interest in developing and managing a small team. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee risk-based audits across corporate functions, operations, compliance, and risk management. Manage the full audit lifecycle, including planning, testing, documentation, findings, and reporting. Provide oversight, coaching, and development to junior auditors, including direct line management responsibilities. Build relationships with senior stakeholders and challenge existing processes and controls. Support executive-level audit reporting, management information (MI), and regulatory requirements. Contribute to continuous improvements in audit methodology and risk assessment. What We're Looking For Extensive internal audit experience within financial services, ideally banking. Broad business audit exposure across multiple risk areas rather than a single specialization. Proven experience leading audits, reviewing workpapers, and mentoring junior team members. Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and regulatory expectations. Ability to balance audit oversight with hands-on execution when required. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. Bachelor's degree required; CIA, CPA, or equivalent qualifications preferred. Nice to Have: Experience auditing third-party risk management, finance, or compliance, alongside exposure to executive-level audit reporting. Why Consider This Opportunity?
