Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The person in this position will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining ledgers, posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, supporting audit and tax documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Account Executive will liaise with clients to clarify financial information, respond to queries, and support them in maintaining accurate records. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams, contributing to process improvements, and supporting senior professionals in advisory and compliance assignments. Qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ledger management. Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and basic ERP or finance tools. Ability to prepare and reconcile financial statements, supporting audit and tax processes. Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and analytical problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and internal coordination. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a structured, deadline-driven environment. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or holding a professional qualification (e.g., CA, CMA) is an advantage. Prior experience in an accounting, audit, or finance role, preferably within a CA firm, is beneficial.
