To support the internal accounting team, the remote Virginia Licensed Senior Tax Accountant will meticulously prepare and file compliance-related taxes for subsidiary companies, including Gross Receipts, Excise, Sales & Use, and Personal Property Taxes across all 50 states. Key responsibilities Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns for various state and local taxes Issue State Resale Exemption Certificates and Federal form W9s Conduct research on state and local tax matters and manage unclaimed property state filings Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent 5-7 years of related tax accounting experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vlook-ups and pivot tables Experience with Deltek CostPoint is a plus
