Role Description This full-time, on-site Primary Care Physician (MBBS) role is based in Bengaluru and focuses on providing comprehensive, continuous care to individuals and families. The physician will conduct outpatient consultations, perform routine examinations, diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions, and offer preventive care services. Daily responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing treatments, and coordinating referrals to specialists when needed. The role involves providing urgent care for non-emergency conditions, counseling patients and caregivers on health maintenance, and documenting care within MeragoHealth’s integrated health management system. The physician will collaborate closely with other clinicians, care coordinators, and the MeragoHealth support team to ensure safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Primary Care and Family Medicine to deliver comprehensive, longitudinal care across age groups.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Medicine and Urgent Care to manage common acute conditions and stabilize non-emergency cases effectively.
- Candidates should be qualified as Primary Care Physicians, with demonstrated experience in outpatient clinical practice and continuity of care.
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution, with valid registration with the appropriate medical council and compliance with local licensing requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, with clear, empathetic communication skills toward patients, families, and caregivers.
- Comfort with using digital health tools and electronic medical records in a structured, data-driven care environment.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, preventive care, patient education, and high ethical standards in clinical decision-making.
- Prior experience in primary care or family medicine settings, especially urban or community practice, is an advantage.
