About Our Client Michael Page is hiring for a role in the construction industry, located in Birmingham, Alabama. Job Description Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects. Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine accurate pricing. Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information. Evaluate project risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them. Maintain and update cost databases for future project estimates. Prepare bid proposals and assist in contract negotiations. Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive estimates. Work closely with the construction team to ensure project budgets are met. The Successful Applicant A successful Estimator should have: Experience with preparing cost estimates for commercial construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials. Ability to analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in relevant estimating software and tools.
