THE OPPORTUNITY
The Resident Coordinator is the first point of contact for residents and the operational support anchor for the on-site team. You will support leasing, move-ins, recertifications, and resident communications while learning the full operations of an affordable housing community. Reports to the Business Manager with mentorship from the Regional Property Manager.WHAT YOU'LL BE STEERING
Resident Engagement * Serve as the first point of contact for residents with patience and professionalism; actively listen, problem-solve, and build a welcoming community culture. Operational Accuracy * Maintain precise resident files, records, and responsiveness in Yardi CRM; track work orders, renewals, and notices; support leasing, move-in, and recertification processes with accuracy. Property Standards * Walk the property exterior regularly, document and communicate issues, and ensure adherence to SAIL Standards. Team Support and Growth * Coordinate with maintenance, compliance, and leadership to resolve issues efficiently; take on progressive responsibilities toward promotion to Assistant Business Manager. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THE FIRST 12 TO 18 MONTHS This position is intentionally designed as a developmental role. Based on performance and competency milestones, the typical path to Assistant Business Manager is 12 to 18 months.WHY SAIL
- Base salary $50,000 - $70,000 DOQ, plus performance-based bonus potential

- Essential functions include walking the property (interior and exterior), navigating stairs, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

- Bilingual (Spanish, Somali, or Hmong) a plus
