Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team.
Job Summary:The Litigation Paralegal will be instrumental in supporting an attorney throughout the litigation process, including through trial. The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of civil litigation (and preferably personal injury litigation), exhibit exceptional organizational skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to client service.
Key Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in all phases of the litigation lifecycle, including pre-trial preparation, trial support, and post-trial work.Manage and maintain case files, drafting legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.Gather relevant information, and organize evidence for case preparation.Coordinate with clients, witnesses, court reporters, and other legal professionals.Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.Ensure compliance with all court and jurisdictional rules and deadlines.Analyze and summarize medical records and other case-related documents.
Qualifications:Proven experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in a personal injury law firm.Strong knowledge of litigation processes and legal terminology.Proficiency in case management software, particularly Needles and Filevine.Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.Strong writing and analytical skills.
