Temporary Receptionist

My client is looking for a temporary Receptionist for their NYC office. This is a great opportunity to learn the business from the ground up. This position requires wearing multiple hats and the ideal candidate will have a “no task is too big or too small” mentality. You should expect to interface with our many teams and firm leadership to ensure that all employees and guests have an excellent experience. This role is in the office 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday and will pay $25-30/hr DOE.

What you do:-Greet staff and visitors-Perform new hire tours-Manage parking requests-Set up conference rooms and pantry for catering and events-Register guests in the visitor system-Report pantry equipment issues with the vendors-Handle multiple phone lines and forward calls accordingly-Coordinate catering needs, order food for lunches, meetings, etc.-Receive and send mail & packages-Schedule meetings and manage conference room calendars-Provide support to various teams and departments within the firm-Communicate with external vendors to ensure day-to-day office activities run smoothly-Track inventory expenses and compile reports
What you’ll need:-Strong xzbcwsv customer service and proactive mindset-Enthusiast personality always willing to being resourceful-Strong communication skills both written and oral-Excellent organizational and time management skills-Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and multi-task in a fast-paced environment-Attention and focus on details-Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
