Animal Care Technician

Job Title: Animal Care Technician Location: Rockville, Maryland Type: Contract Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Overview Biopharmaceutical Company is seeking a Animal Care Technician in Rockville, MD! This role would be responsible for animal handling and husbandry, working in the Vivarium Lab to support the advancement of immunology therapies. Responsibilities Receive, examine, transfer, identify and properly house incoming animal shipments according to SOP's. Provide food, water and environmental enrichment to animals following SOP's or approved ASP's. Perform daily animal health surveillance checks and report any abnormal conditions of either the animals or the animal room environment to supervisory staff. Perform routine animal husbandry.
