About the Institute

The MIT School of Education and Research is seeking a dedicated and scholarly Assistant Professor to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between disciplinary content and pedagogical practices, preparing the next generation of educators in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and NCTE standards.

Role Objective

MIT SOER is seeking dedicated, research-driven, and highly qualified academic professionals to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will contribute to the intellectual environment of the school through excellence in teaching, mentoring, and high-impact scholarly publications

Mandatory Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidate s mu st meet all of the following criteria

• Dual Post-Graduatio n: Master’s degree in a core subject (Science, Arts, or Commerce ) A ND an M.Ed. or M.A. in Education
• Eligibility Test s: Must have cleare d NET/S ET in Education
• Doctorat e : Ph.D. in Educati on is mandatory

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Research Excellenc e: A strong track record of publications in Scopus-indexed, Web of Science, or UGC-Care listed journals
• Teaching Experienc e: Prior experience in a teacher education institution is highly preferred.
• Pedagogical Innovatio n: Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering lectures for B.Ed., M.Ed., and Ph.D. programs
• Supervising dissertation work and providing mentorship to aspiring educators
• Contributing to curriculum development and institutional committee
• Engaging in continuous research and publishing original work in reputed journals
