SAP Basis SolMan ChaRM Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) and ChaRM to manage SAP landscapes, system administration, transport management, technical monitoring, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and BW/4HANA landscapes.
• Perform SAP installations, upgrades, system copies/refreshes, client administration, kernel upgrades, and support package upgrades .
• Configure and manage SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and ChaRM .
• Manage TMS, transport routes, change workflows, approvals, and transport troubleshooting .
• Perform SAP system monitoring, health checks, performance tuning, and technical housekeeping .
• Manage background jobs, RFCs, Web Dispatcher, spool/printing, and system interfaces .
• Provide L2/L3 production support , incident resolution, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Support HANA database administration and SAP environments hosted on AWS/Azure/GCP .
• Support High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity activities.
• Coordinate with SAP Support/OSS and other technical teams for critical issues.

Must-Have Skills

• 8+ years of SAP Basis experience
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager 7.2
• Strong expertise in ChaRM configuration and administration
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC
• Strong knowledge of SAP TMS and transport management
• Hands-on experience in SAP system monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, kernel patching, and system copies
• Strong SAP HANA database administration experience
• Good knowledge of Linux/Windows/Unix
• Experience in L2/L3 production support and RCA
• Strong understanding of RFC, Web Dispatcher, background jobs, spool/printing, and interfaces

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with BW/4HANA
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery
• Knowledge of SOX/compliance and SAP change governance
• Experience managing parallel transport cycles and UAT landscapes
• SAP Solution Manager certifications or relevant SAP certifications
• Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis + SolMan + ChaRM , with the ability to independently manage complex SAP landscapes and provide production-level technical support.
