This position offers a chance to work with cutting-edge infrastructure and make a measurable impact on trading operations from London. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Build and improve a best-in-class platform powering complex trading systems /li li Collaborate within a highly skilled Linux-focused team of engineers, admins and developers /li li Automate processes to minimise human error and improve reliability /li li Leverage a mix of in-house and open-source tech for deep customization /li li Troubleshoot and support the platform using advanced debugging tools /li li Work with modern Linux concepts and programming languages (C, sockets, virtual memory) and scripting /li li Contribute to multi-language software development (Go, Python, Java, C++, Scala or similar) /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Strong STEM background /li li Deep knowledge of Linux and operating systems /li li Fluent command line and shell scripting /li li Familiarity with C, sockets, virtual memory concepts /li li Excellent troubleshooting using debugging tools such as gdp, perf, DTrace /li li Experience programming in any language (Go, Python, Java, C++, Scala or other) /li /ul ul li Linux operating system expertise /li li Shell scripting and command-line fluency /li li C and systems programming concepts (sockets, virtual memory) /li li Troubleshooting with gdp, perf, DTrace /li li Multi-language programming (Go, Python, Java, C++, Scala) /li /ul
