On Call Banquet ServerRenaissance Framingham Hotel is in search of friendly and professional On Call Banquet Servers to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for providing smooth and efficient food service to guests during events.Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, a Colwen Hotels property, is a fully reimagined, castle-inspired destination featuring newly renovated guestrooms, elevated event spaces, and three vibrant dining outlets. Join our team and be part of an exciting new chapter as we bring this refreshed hotel experience to life for every guest.General Responsibilities:Ensure banquet rooms are set according to banquet event orders and management specifications.Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting (use guest name whenever possible).Take orders from guests and deliver to appropriate person to execute.Review and understand event plan at beginning of each shift.Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition.Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items.Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guest's satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked items to the kitchen.Collect plates and clear table as guests finish their meal.Adhere to all applicable Colwen and brand standards for food and beverage service and compliance with state liquor policies.Clean designated areas in accordance with defined procedures.Ensure sideboards are adequately stocked.Set tables to standards, and that all items are clean and in good repair.Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.Perform other related duties as assigned.Requirements:Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to solve problemsPrevious server experience preferredAbility to operate point-of-sale systemAbility to work quickly and efficientlyOrganizational and time management skillsAbility to work with a teamAbility to maintain personal hygieneMust be able to lift, balance and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 poundsAbility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidaysWe've got you covered: Benefits & PerksMedical Insurance with Company-Funded HRADental InsuranceVision InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsWide-Array of Supplemental Insurance OfferingsPaid Time Off ProgramsEmployee Assistance Program401K Plan – Traditional & Roth Options with Employer MatchHotel Discount Travel Program for Associates & FamilyExclusive Associate Discounts – Travel, Entertainment, & RetailTraining and Development ProgramsCareer Advancement OpportunitiesCompensation:Salary Rate: $7.00Colwen Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
