This is an exciting opportunity to lead the launch of a brand-new coffee bar concept within a modern development in Stoke-on-Trent . More than just a coffee bar, the venue will become a vibrant hub for the local professional community — a place to meet, work, network and socialise, with regular events bringing local businesses and people together. We're looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial Hospitality Manager to bring the concept to life, build a brilliant team and make the venue a success from day one. The Role You'll take ownership of the launch and day-to-day operation, helping shape the concept, establish operating standards and create an outstanding customer experience. Your responsibilities will include: Launching the concept: Overseeing the set-up and establishing the systems, standards and processes needed for a successful opening. Building your team: Recruiting, training and developing a motivated team who deliver exceptional hospitality. Running the operation: Managing daily service, stock, labour, costs, quality and overall profitability. Building the community: Developing relationships with local professionals, businesses and organisations to establish the venue as a popular meeting place. Events and networking: Building relationships with event organisers and supporting regular networking, professional and community events. Driving growth: Increasing footfall, customer loyalty and revenue while bringing fresh ideas to develop the concept. Who Are We Looking For You could be a Café Manager, Coffee Shop Manager, Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager or Hospitality Manager ready for your next challenge. We're looking for someone who brings: Experience managing a café, coffee shop, restaurant or similar hospitality operation. Strong leadership skills and experience recruiting, training and motivating teams. Commercial awareness and an understanding of sales, costs and profitability. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A passion for customer service and creating welcoming environments. Energy, initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset. An interest in events, networking and building a strong local community. Experience of opening a new venue or developing a customer base from scratch would be a real advantage.
