About the Role

Physics Wallah Digital University (PWDU) is looking for passionate academicians to join our School of Humanities as Assistant Professor – English (Content Development). The role focuses on developing high-quality academic content for BA/MA English programmes under the Open & Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Education framework.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Self-Learning Materials (SLMs), e-content, question banks, assignments, and assessments. Design, review, and update curriculum in accordance with UGC ODL Regulations and NEP 2020. Create engaging academic content and learning resources for online learners. Conduct live online sessions and provide academic support to students. Coordinate course delivery through the Learning Management System (LMS). Ensure quality, originality, and academic rigor of all course materials.

Eligibility

MA in English with a minimum of 55% marks. NET/SET/SLET qualified or Ph. D. in English (as per UGC norms). Experience in teaching, curriculum development, academic content writing, or ODL/Online Education will be preferred.

Preferred Skills

Strong knowledge of English Language & Literature. Experience in curriculum design and academic content development. Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital teaching tools. Excellent academic writing, communication, and presentation skills.
