In collaboration with physicians, manage care delivery for critical care and surgical patients, and coordinate services provided by multiple disciplines within and outside the health system. Exercise independent judgment in the assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of selected protocols/procedures. Provide educational support for patients/guardians, health team members and the community. Also coordinate QA/QI studies to measure outcomes of care. The Gerber Foundation Neonatal Center is a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit is the only hospital in West Michigan to offer this level of care.
