Key Responsibilities: Monitor and assess patients emerging from anesthesia, detecting complications and responding promptly to changes in condition Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to patient safety protocols Communicate patient status and concerns with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care Offer comfort, education, and guidance to patients and their families during the recovery process Maintain accurate patient records, including vital sign documentation and pain assessment charts Follow PACU unit policies, infection prevention standards, and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications & Experience: Valid and active RN license Demonstrated experience working as a Registered Nurse specifically in a PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) setting Strong knowledge of post-anesthesia assessment, monitoring, and emergency interventions Current BLS and ACLS certifications Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical environment Why Consider This Role?
