Role Summary

As a Chief Data Scientist, you will lead end-to-end development of AI/ML solutions across biometrics, fraud/risk analytics, and large-scale data platforms . You'll set technical direction for modeling, evaluation, and productionization; steward privacy-by-design and model governance; and partner with engineering to deliver nation-scale, low-latency, high-reliability models.

Must Have: -

Must be worked in AI based environment for 4-5 years

Must have worked with companies dealing functional environment like Fraud related, Startup, e-Commerce etc..

Key Responsibilities

1) Biometrics & Identity AI

• Own research and production models for matching, quality assessment, PAD/liveness and multi-modal fusion .
• Drive spoof/deepfake defences and continuous adversarial testing.
• Establish interoperability & standards compliance (e.g., ISO 19794 data formats, SDK benchmarks), and guide cancelable templates/fuzzy extractors where appropriate.
• Assisting CTO/HOE UIDAI for preparing roadmap for biometrics projects in UIDAI and to supervise in-house Research & Development (R&D) in Biometrics technology
• Leading a team of architects, young professionals, and programmers to achieve UIDAI's overall goal of upscaling the biometric tech stack of UIDAI.
• Contribute in architecting and evaluation of the performance of the indigenously developed Deep learning based ABIS (Automatic biometric Identification system) project of UIDAI.
• To be actively involved in the activities of the Biometrics Research Centre/COE (to be set up).
• Responsible for suggesting new ideas and technology for improving the present system and assist in the design of new biometric-related projects of UIDAI.
