SmileDesign Dental is seeking a skilled, personable Certified Dental Assistant to bring confidence, energy, and clinical excellence to our in person team in Duluth, Georgia. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Dental Assistant, CDA, Registered Dental Assistant, or Chairside Assistant who wants meaningful hands on work across general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. You will be a valued partner to providers and patients alike, helping create a comfortable, efficient experience while expanding your exposure to advanced procedures and modern dental care.

What You Will Do:

• Provide exceptional chairside assisting and four handed dentistry support, anticipating provider needs and keeping appointments organized, calm, and patient centered.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and patients for general dentistry, restorative procedures, crowns, implants, root canals, and endodontic care.
• Capture quality dental radiographs and impressions while following established clinical, safety, and infection control standards.
• Support patients with clear oral hygiene instruction, fluoride treatments, and compassionate education that helps them feel informed about their care.
• Assist with expanded functions such as temporary crowns, coronal polishing, sealant placement, and other duties within your certification and scope of practice.

What You Bring:

• You hold current Dental Assistant Certification and X ray certification, allowing you to contribute confidently in a fast paced clinical setting.
• You have proven chairside assisting experience and understand how to support efficient, high quality general dentistry appointments.
• You communicate warmly and professionally with patients, teammates, and providers, including patients who may feel anxious about treatment.
• You demonstrate dependable attention to detail in sterilization, operatory readiness, documentation, and patient safety practices.
• You bring a collaborative mindset, strong initiative, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding patient experience.

Preferred Clinical Experience:

• Experience with crowns, temporary crowns, dental implants, root canals, impressions, nitrous oxide, and restorative dentistry will help you make an immediate impact.
• Expanded functions experience, including coronal polishing, sealant placement, fluoride treatments, and oral hygiene instruction, is highly valued.

Compensation:

Earn a competitive hourly rate of $21 to $26 per hour , based on your relevant experience, certifications, and clinical capabilities. This is an in person role based in Duluth, GA 30096.
