Experience

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Data Modeling, Data Architecture, or Data Governance.
• Strong experience in the Retail domain and retail analytics ecosystems.

Roles and responsibilities -

• Role requires him/her to design and implement data modeling solutions using relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
• You will work closely with data architects to design databases using a mixture of conceptual, physical, and logical data models.
• Ability to design and deliver conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Proven experience creating source‑to‑target mappings from raw data to business data consumption layers
• Strong capability to analyze raw data and define business rules to convert data into meaningful information
• Deep understanding of the Retail and Marketing domains
• Advanced, hands‑on expertise in SQL
• Ability to analyze raw business data and transform it into robust analytical data models
• Solid understanding of star schema, snowflake schema, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs)
• Clear conceptual understanding of data warehouse objects, including tables, views, materialized views, and external tables
