Project Cost Estimator

This is a technical and administrative position responsible for providing cost estimates for infrastructure projects and programs by compiling and analyzing available information, utilizing a job ordering contract (JOC) system, and other standard estimating procedures and processes. The incumbent in this position reports directly to the Department Director or designee and exercises considerable independent judgment and technical expertise in the completion of tasks. Compiles and analyzes information, historical data, confers with professionals and stakeholders, and performs site visits to determine preliminary scope of work.
