About Alora Designs

Alora Designs is a boutique architecture and interior design studio based in Bangalore, working on select high-end residential and commercial projects across India and internationally. Recent work includes private residences and boutique commercial interiors, led directly by the Principal Architect with a small, hands-on team of 8-10. We take on fewer projects, not more — craftsmanship over volume.

The Role

We're hiring a Junior Architect to work closely with the Principal Architect across the design process — from concept through documentation to site — and grow steadily into more independent, client-facing responsibility. This is a role for someone early in their career who wants real mentorship and exposure to a full project, not siloed tasks on a large team.

What You'll Do

• Support development of architectural and interior design concepts.
• Prepare working drawings and construction documentation under guidance.
• Build 3D models, renders, and client presentation decks.
• Assist in coordinating with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
• Join site visits to help track that design intent is being executed correctly.
• Work across every project phase, with growing ownership as you develop.

What We're Looking For

• B.Arch from a recognized university.
• 1–4 years of professional experience.
• Strong AutoCAD and SketchUp skills; rendering software (V-Ray/Enscape/Lumion) experience preferred.
• Good design sensibility and attention to detail.
• Clear communication and organisational skills — you'll be in the room for client and consultant conversations, even while learning.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore (on-site role).

Compensation

Based on experience and portfolio.
