About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for its Clinical Supply Chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the global clinical supply chain strategy in alignment with the expanding late-stage pipeline. This includes leading all aspects of clinical supply operations, from demand forecasting to distribution, and building a high-performing team to support these activities. The role is pivotal in ensuring inspection readiness and compliance with GxP, ICH, FDA, and EMA requirements. The Executive Director will also serve as a technical and strategic escalation point and will be expected to partner cross-functionally with clinical operations, quality, regulatory, and finance. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 18-20 years' experience in pharmaceutical or biotech supply chain, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in scaling teams and leading matrixed organizations, as well as deep, recent experience in small molecule, global, end-to-end clinical supply chain management. A strategic and hands-on approach is essential, with the ability to set a vision and be actively involved in execution. While not mandatory, experience in oncology and familiarity with supply planning tools is considered a plus. The role demands a strategic, hands-on leader who is ready to make a significant impact on the company's global supply chain function.
