TCS Hiring for Microfocus Rehost Technical Architect

Experience Range: - 12 To 18 Years (Mandatory)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Must Have Skills:

• Experience with IBM Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2 and VSAM
• Experience with Microfocus in architecting & delivering end-to-end solutions in Microfocus.
• Experience in migration of Legacy application in highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise platform on AWS Cloud
• Deep understanding of fundamentals and services of AWS Cloud like VPC, EC2, S3, Auto scaling, RDS, CloudFormation and CloudWatch
• Experience with assessment of mainframe applications and databases to formulate plans for migrating it to cloud
• Well versed with different tools and methodologies used to migrate mainframe workloads
• Good understanding of Linux platform
• Excellent communication and analytical skills

Good To Have Skills:

• Experience in automation and provisioning of AWS cloud environments using API’s, CLI and scripts
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Responsibilities or Expectations from the Role:

• Assess mainframe enterprise application for migration
• Architect, design, lead and perform migration of mainframe enterprise application to AWS with Microfocus as a rehost platform.
• Design, develop and implement cloud infrastructure based on AWS cloud services
