Experience: 0 – 5 Years.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To collect and transport blood samples and other specimens as required. To take donor tissues to the Cornea Emergency Unit and Operation Theatre. To coordinate with nursing staff and Operation Theatre personnel. To maintain and upkeep Eye Bank equipment, facilities, and work areas. To ensure proper handling and transportation of donor tissues and specimens.

Experience: 0 – 5 Years

Skill: Good Communication, Counselling

Roles and responsibilities:

To provide immediate support and counselling to the family members of the deceased and educate them about eye donation. To identify and explore opportunities to organize public health education and awareness programs on eye donation. To attend eye donation calls and coordinate with the team to facilitate timely retrieval of donor corneas. To send acknowledgement letters and appropriate correspondence to the family members of donors.
