We are working with a growing residential plumbing, HVAC, and electrical service company that is growing fast.
Our client is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team in their Fredericksburg, Virginia market. This position will lead all accounting functions for a multi-million-dollar service company, including analyzing reports & trends and partnering with the management team to develop solutions to meet business goals.
Areas of focus include:Lead a team of ten, including AR, AP, and inventory managementPerform financial analysis that evaluates business performance, identifies trendsand opportunities, and delivers actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-makingacross the organization.Establish comprehensive financial reporting systems that deliver accurate monthly financialstatements and weekly projections, while serving as a strategic finance partner to location operationsteams and overseeing warehouse operations to enable informed decision-making across allorganizational levelsLead budgeting and forecasting processes, including weekly forecast updates and annual budget development that aligns financial planning with operational objectives, providing clear visibility into resource allocation and enabling effective performance tracking across the organization.
Preferred experience includes at least five years as an accounting manager, controller, etc., in a service-related industry, including pest control, courier/package delivery, uniform, lawn care, security/protective services, car rental, restoration or mitigation, plumbing, HVAC, and related fields.
