Lawyer (Remote | $100–$170/hr) Position: Lawyer Type: Contractor Compensation: $100–$170 per hour Location: Remote, US-based only About the Opportunity micro1 is seeking experienced, U.S.-licensed lawyers to help improve AI systems' legal reasoning, accuracy, and judgment. Contractors will evaluate complex legal scenarios, review AI-generated legal work, and provide expert feedback to enhance the quality and reliability of AI models. Key Responsibilities Analyze legal scenarios involving litigation, corporate transactions, regulatory matters, and compliance. Review AI-generated legal analyses, arguments, contracts, and other legal documents for accuracy and completeness. Identify legal errors, unsupported conclusions, missing information, and weaknesses in reasoning. Apply professional legal judgment to complex or ambiguous legal situations. Provide structured feedback and corrections to improve AI-generated legal outputs. Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a U.S. law school. Active bar license in at least one U.S. state or the District of Columbia. More than 3 years of substantive post-J.D. legal practice. Strong legal reasoning, issue-spotting, legal writing, and document review skills. Excellent written English communication and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a remote contractor environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in one or more legal practice areas, including litigation, corporate, commercial, employment, personal injury, criminal, family, immigration, insurance, intellectual property, healthcare, securities, real estate, tax, privacy, environmental, or regulatory law. Experience reviewing complex legal documents and evaluating competing legal arguments. Familiarity with legal technology, AI-assisted research, or AI evaluation.
