Business Development Manager

What you’ll doOwn and grow relationships with fintechs, technology providers, and other strategic partnersManage new partner inquiries and decide how each one should be engagedRun a scaled partner coverage model, prioritizing accounts that need proactive attention, regular check ins, or reactivationBuild and run partner outreach campaigns, target lists, and follow up plansPartner with Product and Marketing on education, campaigns, webinars, and industry eventsTrack competitor activity, market trends, and partner feedback, and turn them into clear recommendationsKeep CRM data, reporting, and account plans sharp, using AI and productivity tools to work smarter
What you bring5+ years in financial services, fintech, or payments5+ years in business development, partnerships, customer success, consulting, or a similar market facing roleStrong understanding of how banks, fintechs, and technology providers work togetherFamiliarity with financial technology, including APIs, ISO 20022, payment hubs, cloud based tools, and how partners connect to payment networksExcellent writing and presentation skills, with the ability to create polished client facing materialsHands on experience managing partners and account plans in a CRMBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Nice to haveExperience with partner or channel programs at a fintech, payments company, or bank technology providerExperience working with Product or Marketing on go to market initiativesBackground in competitive analysis or market research
Compensation and detailsUp to $150,000 base DOE + Bonus OpportunityComprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company matchUp to 15% travel
This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the role, which may include standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
