Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Days Monday to Thursday part time

Location: Doncaster area, good A1 AND M18 access
Do you want to come off shifts involving 12 hours? Work a Monday to Friday pattern?
This is an 8-hour rotating pattern offering weekend overtime.
Pay Range: £33,500 to £39500
32 hours or 40 hours condired, part or full time considered
Contract Type: One Year Fixed term contract view to go permanent

Key Responsibilities – Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - days monday to thursday
Your new challenge will be providing effective and efficient planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production
Ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault-finding and maintenance of process and packaging equipment
Planned and reactive maintenance to keep downtime to a minimum
You'll work with conveyor systems, hoppers, solos, conveyors and materials handling
Leading mechanical repair and working with a CMMS
Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes
Implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance
Completion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive and improvement maintenance as allocated
Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls
Qualifications & Requirements – Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Days monday to friday
Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in a mechanical engineering discipline in maintenance engineering
Manufacturing Industry experience, heavy, medium or FMCG environments considered
Routine Preventive Maintenance, so as to have an understanding of a PPM schedule
Finding and fixing faults quickly and effectively
Basic welding and fabrication skills advantageous
A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development
