Contechs is recruiting experienced CAD/ Design Engineering Consultants on behalf of a prestigious Luxury Automotive OEM based in the UK (remote working).
Job Description
As a CAD Engineering Consultant (NX), you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of automotive components and systems, ensuring high-quality CAD deliverables throughout the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Create and develop high-quality 3 D CAD models using Siemens NX. Prepare Part Manufacturing Information (PMI), either model-based or through 2 D drawings. Manage engineering data within the Teamcenter PLM system. Support the preparation and release of Engineering Release Packs. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure design requirements are met.Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 5 years' experience using Siemens NX. Proven experience within Automotive Body Structures, Interiors, or Exteriors. Strong working knowledge of Siemens NX and Teamcenter (essential). Experience creating and maintaining complex 3 D CAD models. Understanding of engineering release processes and PLM data management. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.Why work through Contechs?
