Solicitor Insolvency & Restructuring GlasgowIf you're a Solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE in restructuring, banking or a related transactional area, this is a compelling opportunity to join a leading commercial practice in Glasgow and develop specialist expertise in a high-value, technically interesting field.This role sits within an established Insolvency & Restructuring team, working closely with an experienced partner on complex non-contentious matters across a varied and commercially significant caseload.What's on Offer?Competitive salary dependent on experienceHybrid working with flexibilityHands-on mentoring and technical development from senior specialistsExposure to high-value restructuring and finance-related workClear progression opportunities within a leading commercial practiceCollaborative working environment across multiple practice areasOngoing training and developmentThe RoleAs an Insolvency & Restructuring Solicitor based in Glasgow, you'll work directly alongside an experienced partner on a broad range of non-contentious restructuring matters, with real scope to develop technical depth and take on increasing responsibility over time.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting non-contentious restructuring work including group reorganisations, refinancings, debt restructuring and business and asset salesAssisting on formal insolvency processes and advising lenders, corporates and insolvency practitionersDrafting and negotiating transactional documentationCoordinating with colleagues across banking, corporate, real estate, tax and employmentBuilding client relationships and contributing to business development activityManaging workstreams with guidance from senior colleaguesAbout YouHas 2+ years' PQE in restructuring, banking or a related transactional areaHas an interest in developing technical expertise in non-contentious restructuringCommunicates clearly and has solid drafting skillsTakes an organised, proactive approach and manages competing priorities effectivelyBrings a commercial mindset and is comfortable collaborating across teamsHas experience advising lenders or insolvency practitioners - useful but not essentialThe EnvironmentYou'll be joining a well-regarded commercial practice with a collaborative culture and a genuine commitment to developing its people.
