Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Executive will be responsible for managing health insurance claims, handling denials and appeals, maintaining accurate customer records, and ensuring timely collections. The role requires strong knowledge of insurance policies, billing procedures, and excellent attention to detail to resolve payment discrepancies and support departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow up with insurance companies and patients regarding health insurance claims.

Manage claims denials and appeals processes effectively.

Stay updated on changes in insurance rules, regulations, and policies from both government and commercial carriers.

Research and resolve payment discrepancies promptly.

Maintain accurate accounts receivable customer files and records.

Utilize payer websites for efficient follow-up and claim re-submissions.

Read, interpret, and explain Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).

Identify and correct billing errors before resubmitting claims to insurance carriers.

Ensure compliance with third-party billing policies and regulations.

Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental and company goals.
