Purpose of the role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager to lead the construction of a new building, overseeing all technical and supervisory aspects. Responsibilities include managing construction activities, coordinating with architects and interior design firms, and conducting technical and commercial evaluations for MEP systems. The role also covers reviewing interior, advanced electronic solutions, vendor identification, and building maintenance. The incumbent ensures seamless execution with strict adherence to scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while driving stakeholder collaboration, site supervision, and compliance with technical specifications.

What you will do :

• Defining Project Scope: Establish clear goals, deliverables, resources, and success metrics.
• Coordinating with a variety of project stakeholders: Align vendors, contractors, and internal teams; ensure compliance with financial/legal policies.
• Managing project timelines and budgets: Develop project plans, track milestones, and control costs.
• Ensuring Quality Control and Adherence to Project Specifications: Monitor execution against specifications; ensure compliance with consultant-provided technical standards.
• Communicating with Stakeholders and Providing Progress Updates: Provide regular updates, status reports, and chair stakeholder meetings.

Preferred Qualification :

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Construction/Electrical Engineering or related field.

Technical Skills Required :

• Strong Organisational and Project Management Skills: Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera; resource planning; statutory, labour, and legal compliance.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
• Technical Knowledge and Expertise: Codes & standards, construction methods, billing, certification, quality checks, pricing, and market rates.
• Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking Abilities: Critical thinking to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
• Adaptability and Flexibility: Flexibility to handle dynamic project demands and shifting priorities.

Behavioral Skills Required :

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
• Leadership and team management skills with a focus on accountability and collaboration.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
