Quantity surveyor

b Overview /b p In this role you will own the commercial aspects of allocated remediation schemes, safeguarding margins and cash flow. You will work within the commercial team to drive profitability on long-term facade and fire remediation projects. You’ll collaborate with site teams and mentors, shaping commercial processes across the project lifecycle. This is a long-term opportunity with a flexible permanent or temp-to-perm arrangement in central Waterloo. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li competitive salary 65,000 - 75,000 /li li Permanent or Temp-to-Perm flexibility /li li long-term pipeline of remediation works /li li central Waterloo location /li li site travel requirements /li li opportunity for career progression /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Produce and maintain CVRs and Cost to Complete forecasts /li li Manage project cash flow and track gross margins /li li Create procurement schedules and appoint subcontractors /li li Negotiate variations and conduct pre-start meetings /li li Value work on site, raise invoices, and process subcontractor valuations /li li Assess contractual and commercial risks; produce monthly updates; ensure SHE compliance /li li Mentor Trainee Quantity Surveyors /li li Support commercial leadership on remediation projects /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience in Facade Remediation and/or Fire Remediation /li li Valid UK Driving License for site visits /li li BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or related subject /li li CIOB or RICS membership is desirable /li li Valid CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness certification /li li Solid understanding of standard forms of contract, CVR management, measurement standards, and MS Office /li /ul ul li Leadership and mentoring /li li Commercial awareness /li li Risk management /li li CVR management /li li Cost to Complete (CTC) forecasting /li li Procurement planning and subcontractor management /li /ul
