Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality rehabilitation services and help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, mobility, balance, and coordination.
Assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and functional mobility.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Follow facility policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
Communicate patient progress and concerns with the Physical Therapist and healthcare team.
Requirements :
Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the applicable state.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current BLS required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Previous healthcare or rehabilitation experience preferred.
