APRN / PA - NICU - Sarasota Memorial Hospital

<p> The neonatal nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant is an advanced practice provider who demonstrates expertise in the clinical management of the neonate and infant. The provider role is multi-faceted and includes clinical management of the high-risk neonate and infant, educational responsibilities, administrative duties, consulting, and initiating/implementing research. The neonatal nurse provider works in collaboration with medical, nursing and support services to provide family centered care. The neonatal nurse provider maintains active participation in his/her own continued education and professional development. </p><p> Work Hours: 7 (24 hour shifts in 2 weeks). Must be within 30 minutes from the hospital. </p><p> Requirements: </p><ul><li> Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, Masters in Physician Assistant Studies </li><li> Current Florida State Licensure as APRN or a PA. </li><li> Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP). </li><li> Current Licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, or PA. </li><li> Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or a PA. </li><li> Requires 3 years of Level III or greater NICU experience. </li></ul><p> What Awaits You? </p><ul><li> Affordable and comprehensive benefits package. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
