Job Description

  • Assist the Consultant or immediate supervisor in the initial assessment and diagnosis of patients in both Inpatient and Outpatient settings. Obtain and accurately document patients’ medical histories, provide safe and timely patient care as prescribed by the Consultant, and maintain updated patient progress notes.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development and contribute to the enhancement of quality patient care through ongoing learning and practice.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the patient care team to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and quality patient care.
  • Provide services in assigned peripheral departments to attend patients referred by Consultants, and provide medical assessment and care in the Accident & Emergency Department for emergency cases, as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications MBBS with completed House Job.
  • MCPS in Pulmonology or 5 years of experience as an FCPS Trainee or 4–5 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Sound knowledge of basic medical concepts related to patient care, illnesses and symptoms, clinical procedures and practices, patient history-taking, and medical documentation.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Urdu, with proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
