Relief Driver (Class A CDL)Benefits Package included!Competitive Pay!Weekly Incentives!Additional earning opportunities!Location: Monroe, LAReports To: Fleet ManagerEmployment Type: Full-Time/Part-TimePosition Overview: The Relief Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods, materials, or equipment using a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) vehicle. This position serves as backup coverage for regular route drivers, filling in as needed to support delivery schedules and operational demands. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-oriented, and flexible, with strong communication and time management skills.Key Responsibilities:Operate Class A CDL vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policiesProvide coverage for regular route drivers during absences, vacations, or high-demand periodsTransport and deliver goods accurately and on scheduleConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness per DOT requirementsMaintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required documentation (electronic and paper)Communicate proactively with dispatch and operations regarding delivery times, route changes, or delaysAdhere to all weight limits, traffic regulations, and company operational guidelinesAssist with basic vehicle maintenance and cleanlinessAlways represent the company professionally with clients, customers, and the publicResponsible for account integrity, including product rotation, restock coolers, window placements, displays and shelvesQualifications:Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 yearsCurrent DOT Medical Card and ability to pass required physical and drug screeningClean FMCSA recordAbility to operate various commercial delivery trucks, vans, and/or tractor-trailer combinationsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 45 lbs. and work in varying weather conditionsWork Schedule & Conditions:4 day work week. 3 day weekend!
